Iris 'Russian Kavelguard'

A strong and rare Juno iris bred for growing outside. Many white flowers on each stalk end of April. It likes a well drained gritty soil in a sunny position. Here there is no need to lift during the summer. The leaves stay above ground until July. Plant actual bulb 8cm deep, roots deeper. Eventual ht 35cm/1'. Bulks up well. One bulb per pot Sold in 9cm pots. PLEASE NOTE THESE PLANT GO DORMANT SUMMER TO LATE WINTER - THERE IS NO TOP GROWTH, JUST CORMS BELOW SOIL SURFACE
